Ultrasound machines
We are currently negotiating with the Tanzanian ministry of Health to find suitable locations for several superseded ultrasound machines, kindly donated by Jones & Partners. These are extremely useful for Tanzanian regional clinics and hospitals where C-sections are performed, and we hope to secure more of these machines in the future.

Old RAH equipment
ATSFI is in the early stages of a project in partnership with Rotary DIK in its role receiving and shipping medical items from the existing Royal Adelaide Hospital site once it is decommissioned in 2016. This will be a major exercise and focus for our fundraising activities.

Hospital equipment
in December 2014, ATSFI shipped by container a large mobile image intensifier radiology unit, kindly donated by Burnside Memorial Hospital. The imager is now in use at Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam, one of Tanzania’s leading teaching hospitals.
